The basic Number cutters are perfect for making house numbers, number plaques, or custom address signs. Pictured in this set of 9 cutters are the following numerals: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. The 6" and 9" cutters are identical when reversed, so only one of those shapes is included in the set.
Please Note: The 1-3 Inch sets ARE NOT recommended for pottery clay.
Use alone or pair it with our plaque cutters, which are sold separately. The cutters have been reinforced to minimise distortion when used with pottery clay.
For small cutters, put cling wrap or a thin plastic sheet (or use cornstarch) between the cutter and clay for easy release. Cut when the clay is nearing leather-hard to prevent pulling and distortion. Using plastic also gives a slightly rounded top edge.
Our made-to-order cutters are printed on a 3D printer using an olive-green, food-safe PLA plastic filament, ensuring durable, lightweight construction and safe contact with food.

Please note: PLA cutters and textured rollers should be hand washed only in warm (not hot) soapy water, because exposure to high heat from dishwashers or very hot water can cause them to warp or melt. Gently scrub any creases or detailed areas with a soft toothbrush to remove residue. After washing, thoroughly air dry or hand dry them immediately to ensure no moisture remains. Store the tools in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to help prevent warping. Avoid using harsh or abrasive cleaning materials or scouring pads that could damage the surface.
